Ohhh YEAH!!

Well, I did it! I woke up, put in my 20 miles, and managed to make a noon flight to Philly. I am now a little sore, tired, and gearing up for a trip to Macy's (shopping addiction much?) and my massage.... awwww....

It feels so good to get the run in. Almost makes me want to avoid the procrastination next time! A couple things I learned from the run....

  • Accelerade works! Hell, most of it might be mental but I definitely felt stronger miles 16-20
  • My new running skirt is soooo cute
  • Wearing TWO sports bras helps with the chaffing in that area.
  • I kick butt!

2 sports bras at the same time?!?

You rock homegirl! I *heart* Macy's. Even if the one that is near me is really bootleg LOL

Crap, I guess my words of encouragement didn't save last night when my internet connection went down. Anyway, I knew you could do it, and applauded your decision to spend time with the moments that would never return.

Good for you on the run! You getting the same nice break from sweaty heat down there? Man, it's so nice here. Anyway, keep up the good work! Taper time, right?

Nice work getting the long run done before a flight! I always hate flying after long runs...You should definitely deserve a trip to Macys and a massage :)

Wow. I'm always impressed with people who can run their 20 in the middle of the week with work and everything else. Impressive.
