I was pumping gas today and realized I would NOT let it stop on anything other than a tenth of a dollar, like $25.40 or $19.80.
I also became so increasingly fanatical about also getting it to stop on an even dollar or half dollar and finally gave in when it was like $28.50.
The weirdness continues....

I'm like that too. It especially bothers me if the price ends in 9. Like 10.29 That totally has to be rounded up to either a 0 or a 5. It's funny because 9 is one of my fav numbers too LOL
You know, i used to do that too. For some stupid reason I thought: "I should stop it at 00, 25, or 75, so that my balance in my account does get jacked up."
But then, a couple of years later I realized that I can't control all the other things i purchase, except restaurant bills, so I stopped.
Now I purposely stop it on off numbers, or let the machine just stop itself, and that's where it was meant to be stopped.
By the way, failing to pay for cards = bad.
failing to pay for cards at walmart = good.
I stopped at $29.84 this morning;)
I am starting to see a pattern.... I just changed the volume on my TV and would not stop it on an odd number. Why am I prejudice against odd numbers?
And yeah- I had to go back to the store to get another greeting card and I PAID this time. Yipppee!!
