I agree Tiff. They misrepresented SC and southern girls in general. We're not all like that. I can't believe I watched it the other night, it was my first time, and secretly I like it. Don't tell my hubby... he hates those shows.
What's your Chicago training plan like? I keep going back and forth between 3 days versus Hal Higdon's training (4 days) vs, speedwork, or no speedwork (I secretly like speedwork too). Just curious...

Chicago training... I am doing the Hal Higdon beginner plan. I did his plan for my first three halfs and he has not done me wrong yet. It is a pretty conservation plan but I like how I can swim and bike several days a week too.
I have a half this weekend! I am planning on doing some more cross training after Saturday and then buckling down for 18 weeks of Hal!! I am looking forward to keeping up with your Chicago stories on your blog... maybe even a South Carolina Reunion for a beer afterwards?
