So, I met a guy a couple weeks ago after a race. I gave him my cell number and he called me several times. Then I did not hear from him again so I just wrote him off and basically forgot about him.
I went to check my missed calls on my home number last night and saw a number that looked like his that had called once last week and the day earlier. I thought this was not possible as I had not given him that number. I instantly wondered how he had gotten it because he did not know my last name and did not know my home number. So, I just thought he may call back....
...and he did this afternoon. Turns out he had thrown away my cell phone by mistake but remembered the name of the company where I work. He looked up my company online and called reception and was told there were 3 Tiffany's that worked there (out of 1,300- aren't we special?) so apparently he looked up our names online and called all of us til he found me.
So, now I am sitting here thinking that is pretty persistent.
And I am not sure I like it.
Girls? Any thoughts?

welllll, you did give him your number in the first place (all be it a different number)
At that point, it would seem to me as an invitation to get in touch. One way or another.
I agree w/ Gordon but I think that it would have been more appropriate to maybe contact you by e-mail via your company's site. The other way is kinda creepy I guess. What the heck do I know anyway...
Good point, guys. I guess I just lost interest after talking to him before and really did not mind that he lost my number. I was a little creeped out as he laid out the plan about how he found my number- almost like how he was proud he went the distance to get the digits.
A little weird.
Lesson for the masses- always trust your caller ID.
Given.
Word.
He probably thought it showed he cared. Or he was trying to gain stalker-cred. Seems a bit too keen, though I've never met you. Who knows what lengths you might drive men to.
BFD about how he found your #. Frell..even a caveman can do it! Dude...if you find this blog too and click on the blue link...you can get to my blog too.
You are totally right- BFD!!! Woohooooo…. I guess I was just thrown off as I usually am only attracted to dudes that use their one call from the clink to contact me and ask for bail money… or are unemployed and living with their momma….or are on the run from the law and need me to provide a getaway car immediately.
Maybe I am trading up? Moving on up… moving on up…
:)
Get after it!
I am still holding out for The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman!
Wait, hows come you asked for advice from a bunch of chicks and a bunch of dudes replied?
All the girls are too scared to post in case this guy finds out about Tiffs blog and then links to ours.
Except stupid me of course!!
Watch out, Catwoman! I will send him your way :)
