RawwwWrrrrrrrrr rAAAAawwrrrrr RaaaWWWrrrrrrrrrrr

What is that sound, you ask?

a) A bear coming out of hibernation, ready to eat anything and everything

b) Tiff scavenging the kitchen several hours after a long run

c) All of the above

Yeah, definitely answer C.

I know 16 miles is good and everything for health and weight loss and I burned a ton of calories but then why do I eat anything and everything in sight? At least I am eating healthy stuff, as opposed to In-N-Out Burger or Sonic or something.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that EXACT feleing. Yesterday after my 17, I was starving! And I felt completely justified in eating throughout the day. We earn it with those distances!

I have been averaging about a box of popsicles a day. Good thing I am counting them as part of the fruit group.

Awwww I think I need a Sunday night beer too after seeing Jess's pic. I love beer. Carb loading!

Oh man, it's so hard to stay focused on the right foods when I get like that. I usually try to jam down a banana and a Clif Builder bar as soon as possible, and get some fluids in, then at least my stomach is occupied so I can think straight. I do tend to reach for a bottle or two of reward, though. ;-)

Oh, and as for the coupon code site: Yeah, like Marcy need ANOTHER excuse to shop online! She may never again leave except to run lightning quick over to Clit Ct and back.

You are lucky.
After my long runs (19 on Saturday), I don't have much of an appetite. I know I need to eat, but eating is really hard. I don't get my appetite back until the afternoon of the next day (30hours or so). But when it comes back, I eat like a crazed lunatic.

You earned whatever you choose to eat after logging those types of miles!!!

I am usually starving so much that I get headaches after an intense/long run.

I, too, love beer. Carbs are my friend!

I'm not quite up to 16 miles yet, but when I get back from my long runs I have to lock myself out of the kitchen so I don't eat everything in sight.
